At Navv Systems we focus on building technology that enables organizations to maximize the use of iOS devices throughout indoor spaces. With managed iPhones and iPads replacing pagers, laptops, and personal devices in the workplace, there is a massive opportunity to leverage all the technology these devices have baked into them in order to make life easier in a professional setting.

As an example, these devices know their exact location and floor within mapped buildings through Indoor Positioning System technology implemented in the hardware. They also know things like the proximity to objects, direction of movement, if the device has moved, if it has been dropped, or even augmented reality solutions to see what's inside a supply room. At the core of NavvTrack we leverage what we can from the hardware to do things like helping organizations reduce the number of lost phones, which we see gets close to 20% in healthcare. We have other exciting work with detecting objects, building out Find My for the Enterprise, and tying it all together by enabling the workforce with jobs and routes to find objects and orchestrate the last meter of delivery.

Before any of this can be done, a Mobile Device Management system needs to be put into place to help administer all the devices. The MDM helps control access to iOS features that prevent devices from being misused. Knowing how critical device administration is, it was important for us to choose a partner in this space that not only people know and trust, but also one that has pioneered device management in the enterprise. That is why NavvTrack has been excited to be working with Jamf for over a year now. We continue to invest in our partnership, as we learn from the brightest minds in the industry.

Through our partnership we have integrated with Jamf to access logical groupings of devices, push our mobile application to each device, and send lost mode commands to any device we detect has left the building. This is the beginning of our work together, and we’re very excited to see what else we can do to take advantage of everything these devices have to offer.
